For arcs the following formulas hold:
Area = pi*Radius^2*(alpha/360°)
Arc length = 2*pi*Radius*(alpha/360°)

What is an arc?
An arc is a part of a circle. It is gotten by just calculating a certain angle of a circle. Formulas for arcs are similar to circle formulas, but mind that you only have a part of the circle.
The formulas for the arec are: If the angle is alpha, the area is A=pi*r^2*(alpha/360°) and the arc length is b=2*pi*r*(alpha/360).
